Anambra 2021: ADC guber aspirant vows to end poverty

A gubernatorial aspirant of African Democratic Congress (ADC), Mr Afam Victor Ezenwafor, has assured that his tenure would champion youth inclusion as well as end poverty if voted to power.

Ezenwafor, a real estate dealer and founder of Afamation, a political movement earnestly clamouring for good governance and youth inclusiveness, disclosed this at Aguata, headquarters of Aguata LGA while declaring intention to vie for the number one seat.

“Our society and people can be liberated through good governance, which can be achieved through purposeful and visionary leadership that is very courageous and anchored on strong political will,” he stated.

He said he pitched interest on ADC after discovering that the party shares same ideology with his yet to be registered political party which include “elimination of poverty and enthronement of a modern and decent egalitarian society, the path of true growth and development, and to work together without fear or favor for the welfare and well being of all people.”

According to him, the primary essence of government was to do for the people what they cannot do for themselves through the instrumentality of good governance, which he identified as a major gap ‘in the leadership of our clime.’
