A People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant on Anambra 2021 poll, Mr Valentine Ozigbo, has assured the party’s faithful of victory if he emerges as their candidate.
Ozigbo, while addressing the state executive committee and local government leaders in Awka, said he has the resources and other enablement to execute the gubernatorial campaign during the election.
“Given the assurances of a transparent primary election, I am confident that I would emerge as the PDP candidate for the governorship ballot. I want to assure those who are still unsure that I have the wherewithal to mobilise the resources, people, contacts, connections, and everything necessary for us to emerge victorious at the elections.
“We will mobilise all denominations of the church, from Catholic, Anglican to Pentecostal. We will mobilise the markets, youths, and students to win this crucial election,” he added.
Ozigbo, while thanking Chief Ndubuisi Nwobu-led state leadership of the party and other stalwarts at all levels, enjoined his fellow governorship aspirants to sustain issue-based campaign, not campaign of calumny or bitterness.
He donated eight Toyota Sienna cars, sum of N5 million and bags of rice to the state officers.
Responding, the state Chairman of PDP, Chief Ndubuisi Nwobu, described Ozigbo as a man whose word is bond, assuring that he was sure he has capability of clinching the ticket and winning the election.
