Anambra: APC talks tough as Uzodinma gets Certificate of Return

The Anambra State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has congratulated Sen. Hope Uzodimma, the party’s candidate on March 9, 2019 governorship election in Imo state, for emerging victorious at the Supreme Court.
The congratulatory message came same day Uzodinma received Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commision (INEC).

The state chairman of the party, Chief Basil Ejidike, in a telephone interview said the victory of his party at the apex court was a sign to other political parties especially the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) that APC would defeat them on Anambra state 2021 gubernatorial election.
According to him, this would become possible because Anambra state chapter of the party like its Imo state counterpart were united and “enjoyed hardworking” stakeholders like Senator Chris Ngige, Chief George Moghalu, Chief Johnbosco Onunkwo, Hon. Tony Nwoye, among others.

“We, the leaders, and supporters of the APC, rejoiced with the good people of IMO state for having a person like Senator Uzodimma, who is capable of giving them quality, responsible and responsive governance in the state. The judgement shows that Democracy has come to stay in Nigeria administrative setting,” he added.
