Anambra Guber: APGA uncovers FG’s planned use of force

The ruling All Progressives Garand Alliance (APGA) said it has uncovered plots by the All Progressives Congress-led federal government to use force to manipulate the forthcoming governorship election on November 18.
This was revealed yesterday by the party’s national vice chairman, North west, Alhaji Sardauna Yaro ‘Yanleman, in Dutse, Jigawa state.
The chairman and some other chieftains of the party said the APC it was discovered plans to use force as it did in Osun State to clinch victory.
They recalled that it goes to confirm an allegation that the APC-led federal government had once claimed it would use security forces and the power of incumbency to ensure that it wins the coming election.
“So, if you are claiming that you crashed the terrorists in the North east geo- political zone, and you are trying to cause another crisis in some parts of the country by using security operatives to win election, you should beware of the dire consequences of your action. Should you allow yourself to do that your objective of bringing peace and stability to the country is defeated”, Yanleman said.
He said that APGA government has transformed Anambra state in areas of agriculture, vis-a-vis yam export, rice production, restoration of peace and improved infrastructure, among others.
Further, he explained that Anambra is an APGA state adding that “no amount of intimidation, threat or federal might will force the people against their will. Anambra people will use of follow their traditional voting pattern and party,” he said.
He scored the government of Governor Badaru Abubakar low in areas of health care, roads construction, education, but commended the governor on the agricultural transformation of the state. Nonetheless, he boasted that APGA will win the 2019 general elections in Jigawa State.
