ANAN promises to assist government fight corruption

The state chairman of the Association of National Accounts of Nigeria (ANAN) Jigawa state chapter, Malam Ibrahim Garba, said they will soon meet in Dutse to invalidate their membership with a view to strengthening and solidifying their objectives of assisting government in the fight against corruption.

According to the chairman, the association would host over 2000 members during its Annual Mandatory Continued Professional Development Programme in Dutse with the approval of Governor Mohammed Badaru Abubakar.
Garba, who told our correspondent yesterday in Dutse, explained that over 2000 national accountants from different parts of the country were expected to be part of the occasion where issues of national interest would be discussed.

According to him, the annual occasion is mandatory for every member to attend so as to enable them review some of their objectives for the progress and development of their members and the profession as well.
He said that the exercise would hold between April 18 and 21, 2016. “The national President of the association has graciously approved for Jigawa chapter of the ANAN to host the 2016 programme.
He, therefore, said that “the approval was granted in respect of Governor Muhammad Badaru, who is also a fellow member of the association.”
