ANAN seeks govt support on capacity building in Nasarawa

The chairman Association of National Accountant of Nigeria (ANAN) Nasarawa state chapter , Abdullahi Mohammed, Thursday appealed to the Nasarawa state government to resume the sponsorship of its members to enable them build on their capacity and retain their membership of the association.

He made the appealed at the 40th anniversary of the association in Lafia.

Mohammed expressed confidence that with the government of Engr, Abdullahi Sule on ground, its members in the state would be given necessary priority considering the roles they play in ensuring financial regulations are strictly adhered to in carrying out routine financial operations in the state.

The chairman explained further that since the inception of ANAN in the last 40 years, so much has been achieved within the Accounting profession in the country.

“We like to commend the effort of our founding fathers for their courage and determination in reaching the myriads of problems confronting the association. Your efforts will surely not go in vain” He added.

He therefore, called on members to continue to keep faith on its leaders and be participating fully in all the activities of the association.

“Many branch members continue to serve the association meritoriously to the pride and delight of the branch. Members of the branch are at fore front of the association activities.
