Anti-Boro protests sponsored by opposition party – APC

The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State has dismissed the recent protest by some youths against the Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Implementation Committee, Brig.Gen.Paul Boroh, affirming that he is worthy ambassador of President Buhari’s campaign on probity and accountability.
The APC from the home Ward of Brig. General.  Paul Boroh in Trofani community of Sagbama Local Government area of Bayelsa State,  condemned in strong terms the recent protest by some youths against the Amnesty office, describing the protest as sponsored.
“we pledge our unalloyed support to the party, APC and our leader, Chief Timipre Slyva and urge all hands to be on deck.”
 
The APC in a statement issued Thursday by the ward Chairman,  Smart Afimamowei stated that the party have reviewed the allegation raised by the youths and condemn in strong terms the protest by a few persons calling for the removal of the amnesty boss.” 
He said “It should be on record that Boroh is living up to the billings of the high integrity rating of PMB hence his penchant for due process, transparency and accountability. We hereby call on all-meaning Bayelsans and Niger Deltans to support the Buhari administration in it’s quest to improve the lot of ex-agitators through the office of the coordinator of the amnesty programme. “
“We equally urge all genuine ex-agitators to channel all perceived grievances through authorized and legitimate routes instead of deploring the element of unprotected protest which maybe hijacked by miscreant and social misfits.”
 
On the forthcoming 2019 elections,  the APC called on the State leader of the Party, Chief Timipre Sylvia and other stakeholders  to work in harmony to make the 2019 Presidential election & other elections a huge success with an overwhelming majority of votes for our candidates.”
