Anti party activities: ADP expels Kogi chair, 2 others

The national leadership of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) said it has approved the expulsion of its Kogi state chairman, Dr. Abdul Denja, and two others for allegedly playing anti party activities.

In a statement issued Friday in Abuja by its director of media, Kayode Jacobs, the party said the decision was taken at the zonal meeting of North-central leaders held at the party national secretariat in Abuja.

According to the statement, leaders from Kogi state had reported that the state chairman, Dr. Abdul Denja, Dr. Emmanuel Onucheyo and Engr. Lucas Negedu, “were conducting themselves in manners that contradicted the ADP constitution and that was able to breed disaffection and disunity within the Party.”

Meanwhile, the national leader of ADP has directed Kogi state deputy chairman to take charge in acting capacity and ensure that the arty remains vibrant and cohesive.

“The Party warned that it would not tolerate disloyalty or anti party activity from anyone, no matter how highly placed.”
