APC chieftain lauds Badaru on appointment of LGs scribes

A chieftain of All Progressive People’s Congress (APC) Alhaj Ishaq Hadejia has lauded
Governor Muhammad Badaru for appointing seasoned civil servants as secretaries of local government councils in the state.

The former veteran broadcaster, who stated this in telephone chat in Dutse with our correspondent, said those appointed were people that had over the years garnered lot of experiences during their service career.

He asserted that the vastly experienced scribes would bring their wealth of experiences to bear with on their new assignment as well as to ensure transparency and due process in local government administration.

“I know many of those that were appointed; they are people that have attained senior or management positions during their service. They will be able to advise and guide the local government chairmen in the right direction.

“I, therefore, commend the foresight of Governor Muhmmad Badaru especially now that the local government autonomy is being emphasized.

“Without experience people to guide the chairmen, administrative blunders at the grassroots level will be drastically reduced. And this will speak well for democracy under the watch of President Muhammad Buhari, who ensured local government autonomy came to be,” Ishaq said.
