The suspended leaders of the ruling party were accused of anti-party activities.

When contacted, the National Publicity Secretary of APC, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu responded in affirmative.

He said: “A statement is in the works. I confirm the above to be true.”

Blueprint learnt that the decisions were taken at the NWC meeting on Friday afternoon in Abuja where allegations of “anti-party activities” were levelled the governors.

Amosun and Okorocha were both elected senators on the platform of APC on Saturday but they are supporting different candidates for the March 9 governorship election on another party’s platforms.

In Enugu, the VON DG was accused of working for the re-election of the Peoples Democeatic Party (PDP) candidate who is the incumbent governor of the state.
