Commotion broke out Saturday at the Eagle Square, Abuja, venue of the national convention of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) while President Muhammadu Buhari was delivering his speech.
Blueprint gathered that a faction of Delta State’s delegates led by a lawmaker started a fight against another faction occupying the allocated seat to the state delegates.
Security officials who were in large numbers quickly rose to the occasion to restore normalcy. The aggrieved delegates were seen throwing brooms in the air as well as the party’s symbol at each other.
Earlier, there was another commotion at the Oyo state stand when supporters of Minister of Communication Adebayo Shittu and that of Governor Abiola Ajumobi, engaged each other in banters.
