APC: IMC urges national secretariat to discard allegation against its chairman

Interim Management Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Plateau state chapter, has called on the party’s National Secretariat to discard earlier calls for its dissolution.
The IMC in a statement was reacting to the allegations made by a delegation of the party under the ‘APC for All in Plateau’, that interim chairman, Gen.

John Shagaya (rtd), was running the party like his personal chiefdom.
Leader of the ‘APC for All in Plateau,’ Engr Bulus Damshe Lakshek, had last Thursday led a delegation to the party headquarters in Abuja where they issued a protest letter accusing Shagaya of creating problems in the party, as well as not carrying other members of the party along.

However, the IMC Secretary, Hon. Ibrahim Dasuki Salihu Nakande, described the group as “liars,” stressing that Lakshak was a “run-away member of the former CPC for fomenting trouble and creating a faction.”
“On sensing the implication of his unruly behaviour, he crossed over to the former ACN, where allegation of fraud is still hanging on him,” he said.
