APC ‘ll take us to our destination-Uzodinma

Governor Hope Uzodinna of Imo state has described the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a veritable platform that would take the South-east geo-political zone to its desired destination.

Rising from the South-east APC stakeholders’ meeting which took place at the Mbari Amphithearter in Owerri Wednesday, the governor said the stakeholders used the meeting, which also served as their end of year meeting to discuss ways of reconciling their differences among members, and commences registration of new members in order to get ready for the coming national convention.

Uzodinma made it clear that the days were gone when APC was blackmailed and called all sorts of names and was of the view that if members in the zone could unite, the sky would be their limit.

Also speaking, an ex-officio of the party from Abia state, Nduka Anyanwu sounded it loud and clear that APC was the party to watch.

He added that all the party in the zone needed to do was to come together, unite and then every other thing would be achieved.

On the strength of the party in Abia state, Anyanwu expressed optimism that the party would sack the ruling party, PDP in the 2023 election as the PDP was nowhere in governance, adding that the basic infrastructure like good roads and other amenities were not in existence. “In short, nothing is happening in Abia state”, he said.

By way of  goodwill message, a legislative aide to the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Hon Mrs Jennifer Oguzie appealed to the South East APC members to unite and take their rightful place in the scheme of things, saying that the party had the capacity to control the zone and the centre at the same time if members could unite.
