The Director General of the serving governors on the platform of the All Prigressives Congress (APC) Dr. Lukman Salihu, has said he has no regret over a press statement he authored calling on the national chairman of the party to urgently convene a National Executive Council (NEC) or resign.
He also warned comrade Adams Oshiomhole to stop behaving as if Edo state is equal to Nigeria, saying the national chairman must do everything possible redeem his image and free himself from cage.
The DG APC governors forum had issued a statement on Wednesday asking Oshiomhole to convene NEC meeting or resign as the national chairman of the party.
Addressing a news conference Thursday in Abuja, the DG also called on all the national leaders of the party to speak up.
“I have been receiving calls since yesterday when I release the statement but up till now nobody has called to condemned me… I must say I have no regret at all over the statement,” the DG stated.
