Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna state led All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders and chieftains including Publisher of Blueprint Newspapers, Alhaji Mohammed Idris Malagi, in receiving APC presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his entourage.
Tinubu, who arrived aboard Kanem Air around 2:30pm at the Dana Air Airstrip ahead of Tuesday’s mega APC presidential campaign flag-off for North West zone, was accompanied by his running mate, Sen. Kashim Shettima.
Others on the APC entourage include the Director General of APC Presidential Campaign Council, Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau state, Kano state Governor, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi state, Governor Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa state and Sports Minister, Chief Sunday Dare.
At the arrival lounge, Tinubu and his entourage were received by Governor el-Rufai, Kaduna state gubernatorial candidate of the APC, Sen. Uba Sani and Kaduna state Chairman of APC, Air Comm. Emmanuel Jekada (retd).
Also on the receiving party were APC gubernatorial aspirant for Niger state and Chairman of Blueprint Newspapers and We FM Abuja, Alhaji Mohammed Idris Malagi, ex-Super Eagles player and coach, Daniel Amokachi among other party chieftains.
While in Kaduna, Tinubu is expected to meet with professionals, groups and organisations, as the APC presidential campaign rally will be flagged off on Tuesday at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.
