APC presidential rally: Tinubu to visit Zamfara on January 28

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will visit Zamfara state on the January 28, 2023 for his presidential rally. 

This was made known by the Director Publicity of the Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle’s gubernatorial campaign council, Ibrahim Danmalikin Gidan Goga, at a press conference in Gusau Tuesday.

Danmalikin Gidan Goga further revealed that all arrangements were on to ensure peaceful and successful of Tinubu/Shatima presidential campaign rally in Zamfara state.

“I want to clearly note that the presidential candidate under the umbrella of All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu will visit Zamfara state as part of his presidential campaign rally scheduled to hold on the 28th of January and we shall strive to ensure peaceful presidential electioneering campaign in the state,” Danmalikin Gidan Goga said.

According to him, “the Matawalle’s gubernatorial campaign council after spending 10 days break, the campaign council under the leadership of former governor of Zamfara state, Alh. Abdulaziz Yari, will resume its normal campaign tomorrow scheduled to hold in Shinkafi Town the headquarters of Shinkafi local government area of the state.”

Gidan Goga expressed dissatisfaction over what he called unprofessional behaviour of some electronic media outfit in the state for making live programme for over 12 hours for opposition party gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Dauda Lawal Dare.

He described the live programmes as unprofessional, calling on electronic media outfits in the state to always be fair and just in their daily activities. 

He called on journalists to report the governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle’s gubernatorial campaign rally as it is and always report based on the ethics of their profession for the progress of the state and successful conduct of APC campaign and election.

He said 10 days to the commencement of election, the Matawalle’s gubernatorial campaign council would round off its campaign rally in Talata Mafara local government area. 

He appealed to members and supporters of APC in the state to remain law abiding and shun any form of unrest during the party’s electioneering campaign, elections and beyond.
