APC registration: Chairman calls for additional forms

As the All Progressives Congress (APC) began nationwide registration of its members, the interim chairman of the party in Bwari Area Council, Hon. Musa Diko, has called on the national chairman of the party to increase the number of membership registration forms.
Diko make the call yesterday at his ward in Kubwa were he collected his membership form, saying that the process which began yesterday “is the beginning of change in the Nigerian polity.”
“I am calling on the national chairman of our great party to immediately increase the number of forms sent to Bwari, as they are expecting not less than 500 members from each polling unit,” he said.
He advised members to use this opportunity to do things at the right time by coming out enmasse to pick their forms and became full members of the party, adding, “Without the registration, nobody can claim to be a member yet, and they cannot come out to run for any elective position under the party.”
Similarly, the councillor representing Kubwa ward and the minority leader in Bwari area council, Hon. Haruna Mohammed, urged members to “see the exercise as a serious one which can give the party an advantage over the other parties, come 2015.”
