APC scribe commends Buhari on Dapchi girls’ release

National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Maimala Buni, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for the release of the Dapchi school girls.
“The release of the girls underscores the commitment of government to the safety of the girls who were abducted last month.
“President Muhammadu Buhari visited Yobe state and Dapchi community last week to sympathise with the parents of the abducted girls with a promise of safe return of the students, we are grateful that, the president has lived up to his words within a week,” he said.
Buni said the fight against terrorism by the Buhari administration had re-established relative peace in the North-east.
“Except for the isolated cases, the North-east has recorded tremendous improvement in resettlement and economic rehabilitation.
“Nigerians appreciate the president for rescuing the University of Maiduguri lecturers who have since reunited with their families.”
Buni also appreciated the efforts of the Yobe government in the fight against insurgency, adding that “the Yobe state government has provided very good logistics support to security agencies in the state.”
The secretary also commended security agencies urging them to always engage in corroborative synergy to effectively check crime in Nigeria for a stable and sustainable peace and security across the country.
The party’s scribe described the politicisation of the Dapchi school girls as “absurd and regrettable.”
“This was what happened with the Chibok girls in which the then administration initially refused acknowledging that there was abduction and handled it with laxity.” Foundation to present Adayi
