APC sliding to impunity, injustice – Nyako

Former Adamawa state governor, Murtala Nyako, has said the governing All Progressives Congress has failed to learn from the verdict of history and now sliding towards impunity, injustice and disregard to the party’s “constitution which consumed PDP in 2015 election.”
Nyako stated this yesterday in his Yola residence when APC factional excos loyal to his camp and other party stakeholders from the 226 wards and 21 local governments in the state visited him to condole with him over the demise of his wife.
The former governor explained that, although he was bereaved, “death is inevitable and life must go on”, adding tasking the members not to tolerate any act of injustice, impunity and imposition against them in the state from any quarters both at the state and national levels.
According to him, he was still exploring the possibility of taking up issues with the new leadership of the party to address the charade that took place in the name of congresses in the state and other parts of the country which he said will determine their next line of action, pleading with his supporters to be patient and wait for next directive from him soon.
Nyako further explained that, they have sacrificed and invested their personal resources to build APC in Adamawa state and yet suffered under the administration of Goodluck Jonathan.
The former governor condemned the recent killings in Plateau state where scores were killed, describing it as shameful and disgraceful and called on Nigerians to tolerate one another and live in peace and harmony.
