APC to INEC: Learn from our registration exercise

The North-east, national vice-chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Umaru Duhu, has urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to take a cue from the party’s registration exercise which commenced on Wednesday.

Duhu, who spoke to reporters at the training of APC members in Mayo Belwa and Jada, said all necessary arrangements had been made to ensure a smooth registration exercise.

He said there would be proper movement of registration materials and personnel, stressing that INEC should “come and observe the registration process for tutelage.”
Duhu expressed the party’s readiness to make use of available resources and machinery to effect proper registration exercise.

“In all, logistics, machines and others, we are ready. Adamawa will be agog and our people will get registered in all polling units,” he said, adding that the registration was for all intending members of the party to get registered.
The national however debunked the report that there was crisis in some APC states, stressing that it was just a family misunderstanding.
