Armed men raid DG, PDP Governors’ Forum’s home

The home of the Director General of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum, Earl Osaro Onaiwu, was at the wee hour of Wednesday raided by armed men.

The armed men numbering about five break into Onaiwu’s Abuja  home about 1am on Wednesday and carted away valuables worth more than N100 million.

Some of the things stolen by the gun wielding masked robbers were trinkets, two televisions, his phones and that of his wife and children among other valuables.

Speaking with our correspondent, Onaiwu expressed shock over the development, wondering how armed men, numbering about five gain access into the estate and raid his house and steal valuables worth such amount and were not arrested.

He lamented that security situation in the country is pathetic, adding that if a place believed to be secure can be raided by armed men, how would Abuja environs look like?

He said he has not recovered from the trauma and noted that it was by  the grace of God they were not hurt.
