Army nabs 4 suspected terrorists, collaborator in Yobe

The Nigerian Army said yesterday that troops of 233 Battalion deployed in operation LAFIYA DOLE nabbed four Book Haram suspects and their collaborator during a raid operation in Mingel and Damagun in Fune Local Government Area of Yobe state.
It said the operation took place on 27 April 2018. According to army spokesperson, Brig. Gen. Texas Chukeu, all the suspects hailed from Borno State.
He said: “The suspects are: Chari Masaa, 40; Gonbuzu Abar, 30; Modu Moduchollo, 20; Titta Masawa, 20. “While their collaborator is Gambo Idrisa, 30.” Chukwu said four Techno phones, and cash of N150,000.00 were recovered from the suspects. “Similarly, troops of Forward Operation Base, Potiskum on 26 April 2018 while on routine patrol arrested a suspected Boko Haram terrorist, Mr Sailsu Musa – 30 years of Sabon Gari Duddaye village in Nangere Local Government Area,” he said. Chukwu advised the public, especially residents of the North east to always report any suspicious movements to the security agents for necessary action.
