Army nabs illicit drug peddler in Bauchi

The Nigerian Army has said that its troops of 33 Brigade deployed at the Forward Operation Base have arrested two suspected illicit drug peddlers during a raid operation at a criminal hideout in Filin Kokuwa, Yuga area in Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi state The Director Army Public Relations, Brig.
Gen. Texas Chukwu said some items were recovered from the suspects during the operations.
He said: “the items are One polythene bag containing weeds suspected to be marijuana.
“85 wraps of substance suspected to be marijuana, some quantities of tramadol, six tubes of rubber solutions, and five mobile handsets.” He said the army handover the suspects to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for further action.
4. Members of the public are reminded to report any suspicious movements or activities to the nearest security agency for prompt action.
