Arsenal, 11 others top club chase Osimhen

Super Eagles and Lille of France striker, Victor Osimhen is receiving pressure from a total number of 12 top European clubs as Arsenal of England have stepped up their efforts to outdo all their rivals in becoming the team to hook his signature this summer.

After snatching Nicolas Pepe from Lille at the beginning of the season,  Arsenal are again set to raid Lille at the end of the current season, with their eyes fully set on the Super Eagles’ striker.
But the Gunners have to prepare enough cash to outsmart four of their English Premier League rivals, four other top teams from Spain and same number of suitors from Italy who all want to snatch the 21-year-old Super Eagles’ player this summer.

The clubs interested in him are Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, as well as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Valencia and Sevilla of Spain so also AC Milan, AS Roma, SS Lazio and AS Napoli of Italy.

The report by Le Quotidien du Foot affirmed that Arsenal are among the chasing pack, who all aim to catch Osimhen in this summer’s transfer window, even after he snubbed the same club five years ago, after emerging top scorer at Chile 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup.
Osimhen backed out of a likely deal with The Gunners at that time because his mentor at the youth club that groomed him, Ultimate Strikers Football Academy of Ojota, Lagos preferred a deal with VfL Wolfsburg of Germany, where he eventually spent four fruitless years wallowing in their youth team, before a loan deal took him to Sporting Charleroi of Belgium last season
