A delegate, Senator Anthony Adefuye has said that having different religious bodies in the country is not helping the country, suggesting that all the religious organisations should come under a body.
Sen. Adefuye made this call Thursday during his remark on the President Jonathan’s inaugural speech. He said the country will do itself a world of good if Muslims and Christians come together under one umbrella.
“On the issue of corruption, we are all corrupt. I t is not only the ex- governors here but all of us even the religious leaders who take money from members without shoes to buy jets.”
