Association laments falling education standards

Association of Christian Schools in Nigeria (ACSN) has lamented the eroding standard of education in the country and called for immediate return of core Christian values in schools as a panacea to curbing examination malpractices.
The association also appealed to the federal government to stop the practice of recruiting nonChristians to teach Christian Religious Studies, but recruit qualified graduates from Christian Theological Seminary to teach the subject in secondary schools. Speaking with journalists in Jos on issues affecting Christian schools in the country, President of ACSN, Ekaette Ettang, called on the federal government avoid negative decisions on Christian schools.
