Atiku will tackle insecurity, socio-economic vices as president –Tambuwal

Sokoto state governor, Barr Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has assured the people of Rabah local government that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has the capacity to tackle security challenges currently ravaging the country.

Tambuwal, who stated this in Rabah town, headquarters of Rabah local government while addressing thousands of supporters during the PDP rally, said the presidential candidate has already mapped out strategies on how to tackle insecurity in the land.

“If you vote Atiku Abubakar into power on February 25, the armed banditry, Boko Haram , farmers-herders clashes and oil theft will be history,” the governor stated.

He said “Atiku Abubakar is an experienced administrator who has been in the corridors of power, he has knowledge of the Nigerian problems,” he said. 

He added that by the special grace of God, the PDP-led government would tackle economic and social vices bedeviling the country at the moment.

He therefore called on the people of Sokoto to vote for all the PDP candidates because according to him, the party has presented the best materials for leadership.

Speaking during the rally, the PDP governorship candidate, Malam Sa’idu Umar Ubandoman Sokoto, said he’s aware of all the problems that the people of Rabah are facing and pledged to tackle it one after another if voted into power.

Also speaking , the PDP chairman, Hon Bello Aliyu Goronyo said he is optimistic that the PDP will win the elective seats in Sokoto state

Adding that over 15,000 APC supporters decamped to the PDP in Rabah local government

Meanwhile, the governor of Sokoto state, Barr Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has  assured the people of Wurno local government that the proposed rehabilitation of Lugu dam and Wurno irrigation scheme would be executed as scheduled.
