Attack on Ekweremadu: South-East governors spit fire, vow to drag Nnamdi Kanu back home

South-East governors forum, Tuesday promised to bring Nnamdi Kanu back to Nigeria to face the  consequences of the acts by Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) should any Igbo leader or stakeholder be touched again by the group.

The Governors made this known in a terse statement signed by  chairman of the forum and Governor of Ebonyi state, Engr. David Umahi and made available Tuesday night in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state capital.

The governors’decision is coming exactly three days after former deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu who went for a function was attacked in Germany.

The serving Senator has already returned to Nigeria.
