Ayu’s focus, discipline ‘ll lead PDP to victory – Coalition

National Chairman of Peoples’ Democratic Party, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, is focused and disciplined and has the capacity to deliver PDP from it’s challenges and take it to victory during the 2023 general elections, a coalition has said.

The Peoples Democratic Party Coalition for Professionals Group and Peaceful Co-existence (PDPCUP), a pressure group, said Dr Iyorchia Ayu, has made many sacrifices toward uplifting and uniting Nigeria despite challenges with some group of elites.

The Coalition told stakeholders in Kaduna on Sunday that Ayu deserves all supports from PDP leaders because of his previous records of commitment, hardwork, calm and focus.

National Coordinator of the Coalition, Alhaji Muhammed Dan’auta, said “Ayu’s calmness, faithfulness, perseverance and focus in administering PDP to greater way so far, despites some unwarranted attacks and bashing against his personality, has indicated that Nigerians will never cry or regret if they voted PDP back to power. He is a leader, pathfinder and hope to many positive things to the country.”

The group promised to work assiduously to promote PDP presidential flag bearer and other candidates of the party across the  North-west states to ensure success of the party. Malam Dan’auta said one of the key reasons for the meeting is to offer solutions, discuss and exchange ideas to uplift the standard of the party ensure its unity, success and cohesion in the North.

Speaking on Atiku’s candidacy, the Coalition said, “if elected Atiku/Okowa presidency has all the needed energy to solve our challenges with greater commitment by ensuring fairness,  justice and equity to all Nigerians. His government will be for all Nigerians not one region, religion or ethnic group. We are hopeful that Nigerians will trust Atiku and give him the mandate by coming out enmass to votes for PDP and protect their choice after casting votes.

“Nigerians should be wary of those politicians that are becoming so desperate to bring disunity by playing ethnic, religious and regional tendencies. Their utterances are capable of truncating our democracy and peace. Use of vulgar language, creating disaffection and religious bigotry will never solve the social and  political problems, it will only destroy and over heat the polity.”
