Badaru reconstitutes 4 Jigawa tertiary institutions’ governing boards


 

Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state has approved the reconstitution of
Governing Councils of four tertiary institutions in the state.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government
of Jigawa State, Alhaji Adamu Abdulkadir Fanini.

Similarly, the governor has also approved the appointment of Alhaji Habu
Isyaku (Durbin Ringim) as the chairman, Jigawa State Scholarship Board.

The Jigawa State  College of Education, Gumel has Professor Umma Abdulwahid as chairman
while Alhaji Muhammad Idris, Alhaji Adamu Haruna, Alhaji Hamisu Dallatun Kazaure,

Alhaji Musa Isa Miga  and Dr. Musa Abdullahi Auyo are members

Similarly, Dr Yakubu Abbas Yakubu has been appointed chairman of Jigawa State College

of Education and Legal Studies, Ringim with Dr. Aisha Warshu,Usman Muhammad Kiri

Kasamma and Dr. Auwal Muhammad Gwaram as members.

Also, the Jigawa State Institute for Information Technology, Kazaure has Engineer Auwalu

Bature Babura as chairman while Alhaji Garba Garmu Birniwa, Dr. Habiba Adamu Kakude,

Aliyu Abdullahi Roni, Dr. Muhammad Hassan and Alhaji Ibrahim Malam Aujara are members.

Governor Badaru also appointed Professor Haladu Isa Bayero chairman of the  Jigawa State

College of Remedial and Advanced Studies (JICORAS) Babura with Dr. Yarima Muhammad,

 Hajiya Hindatu Tafida Kazaure and Alhaji Shehu Abdu Zakar as members.

The statement said all the appointments take immediate effect.
