Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state Sunday appointed the son of Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi Dr Abubakar Dahiru Bauchi as chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).
According to a press release signed by the Secretary to the State Government Alhaji Sabiu Mohammed Baba, the governor also approved the appointment of Alhaji Yakubu Barau Ningi and Zakari Ibrahim Muhammad as permanent commissioners in the board.
Other appointed board members are Yusuf Abdullahi Itas, Abbas Waziri and Mrs Comfort Audu.
The SSG noted that the appointments are with immediate effect.
