Bala assures investors of business-friendly environment

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Bala Mohammed, has reiterated federal government commitment to create a business-friendly environment to international investors willing to do business in Abuja and in the country.
He said the policy was specifically put together in line with the transformation agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan-led administration, adding that it was now left for the foreign investors to consider and take up opportunities.

Bala was represented by the managing director, Abuja Technology Village Company, Mrs. Hauwal Yabani, at the opening ceremony of Konika Minolta Digital print solution exhibition tagged “optimising digital printing with the latest technologies.”
He said: “The introduction of Konica Minolta print solutions in Nigeria has contributed immensely to the socio economic development of our nation be way of improving office documentation process printing, print production of various commercial print products like books, annual reports, posters, electioneering campaign posters and security documents which has gone a long way to reduce capital flight and promote the establishment of cottage printing shops all over Nigeria thereby helping to reduce unemployment.”

While welcoming participants to the event, managing director, Skysat Technologies Limited, MR. Izzat Debs, said Konica Minolta was committed to introducing more products into the Nigerian market, “employ, train more Nigerians and contribute to government’s efforts to increase foreign direct investment in the country.”

Also, Konica Minolta’s senior area manager, Mr. Mark Oldfield, sought the support of government and Nigerians to provide the necessary infrastructure for the development of printing industry, saying that it had invested a substantial amount of money with Show Rooms located across the country.
