Bandits strike on Christmas day, kidnap PFN chairman, wife in Kaduna

Bandits have attacked Albarka praying camp along Afana-Fadan Kagoma-Kwoi road in Jema’a local government area and kidnapped Kaduna state Chairman of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Apostle Emmanuel Egoh Bako, his wife Cindy Bako and one Mr Douglas.

It was a bleak Christmas for the people of the area, as well as members of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, as the kidnappers attacked the prayer camp on Friday shooting sporadically into the air and even shot at a vehicle breaking it’s side glasses before making away with their three victims.

According to a statement signed by Kaduna state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan, the bandits were given a hot chase by the security agents who arrived the scene after the attack, but were unable to retrieve any of the victims.

“Security agencies have reported to the Kaduna state government the kidnapping of Apostle Emmanuel Egoh Bako and his wife Cindy Bako in Jema’a local government area.

“According to the report, unidentified gunmen attacked the Albarka praying camp along the Afana-Fadan Kagoma-Kwoi road. They fired sporadically, hitting a vehicle, before abducting Apostle Bako, his wife and one Mr Douglas from the camp.
