Barnawa MFB opens branch in Kaduna south

To further bring a range of financial services suited for the needs of the underserved including credits, savings, insurance and remittances, Barnawa Micro finance Bank has opened a new branch in Mararaban Rido, a settlement in Kaduna south that is gradually growing into a metropolitan city.
The introduction of micro finance banking, according the Managing Director, Mrs Charity Chukwuemka is in line with the federal government December 2005 mandate for community banks to convert to Micro Finance Banks by December 2007.
She said, “The decision to bring the bank close to the people is to provide banking services to active poor, small and medium businesses with a view to reducing poverty.” Mrs Chukwuemeka assured the chiefs, market women, artisan’s business men and representatives of different thrift and cooperatives that Barnawa micro finance bank offers services that suit the needs of the people ranging from savings, Credits, asset acquisition loan, advisory services just to mention but a few.
Further more the bank’s boss said, the bank has a track record of customer satisfaction over the years
