Bauchi moves to digitize education process

Bauchi State Ministry of Education and Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD) have trained education administrators to be ICT compliant.

The  Commissioner for Education, Dr Aliyu Tilde, at the weekend said the partnership was to leap the ministry from its ineffective way of paper file communication system within its publics.

According to him, computers have been distributed to 219 public secondary schools across the state to further actualize the dream.

“Almost nothing could be done successfully without Information Communication Technology in the ministry due to the large size of workers, as there are 20 local councils in the state and we are having it difficult to communicate memo to all the schools,” he said.
