Bayelsa, Sunshine in battle of Queens

Bayelsa Queens pulled one of the outstanding results in Week 4 when they went to the den of the Amazons in Nasarawa and came out unscathed with a goalless draw.
The Amazons had remained invisible at home until last weekend, when the struggling former champions who suffered a home defeat penultimate week came to Lafia, and almost ran away with a win.

However, Bayelsa Queens will be at their adopted home in Omoku, Rivers state this weekend to welcome Sunshine Queens. The Mimiko girls who had the last laugh over their kinsgirls from Osun last weekend, would need more than a mere luck to survive the new found form of the Queens from Yenegoa.
The Aregbe Babes from Osogbo would host the Adamawa Queens. The Queens from Adamawa would be playing their second away match in a row this weekend. A very formidable team, but loss of concentration has been their bane in the league.

This weekend in Osogbo, nothing can save them from another defeat. Nasarawa Amazons would try their luck in the ancient city of Benin. They would meet another humiliated team, the Edo Queens. The Oshiomhole girls had lost two matches in a row including a home defeat penultimate week, but this weekend, they would try to redeem themselves against the Amazons from Lafia.

The star match of the week would be in Oleh, Delta state, where the Pelican stars would be guests to Delta Queens. The hosts are expected to unleash the likes of Joy Jegede, Ohale Osinachi, Okobi Ngozi, Chido Ehiudo among others on their guests. The match would surely live to up expectations, but the home girls may likely run away win a slim win.
FC Taraba Queens would have more than enough to chew as they confront the log leaders, Ibom Angels, at the Jolly Nyame Stadium, Jalingo. The visitors are in top form, and on a good day, would have little or no problems shocking their hosts in their backyard.

The last match of the week will be in Lokoja where the Confluence Queens who were propelled by their sports-loving Governor, Idris Wada, to humiliate visiting Taraba Queens by 4 – 0 last weekend, will want to reenact such a performance against Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt.
The host would rely on the exceptional performance of the likes of Tina Okoro, Edet Favour, Vincent Mercy, Israel Florence and Amaechi Ojuni to outwit their opponents.
