Federation Cup holders, Bendel Insurance has started preparation for the 2023-24 domestic league campaign following an impressive 2023 NPFL abridged league outing which saw the Benin Arsenal go 21 games unbeaten run, to finished  in Group A as table toppers, and the best defensive team in the league.

Though the Benin Arsenal developed cold feet at the NPFL Super 8 in Lagos to determined the league winners. 

Coach Monday Odigie and his wards were sighted at  Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium which serves as their main training ground, while engaged in a training session in preparations for the new season with their new and old players getting set for the NPFL kickoff.

Bendel’s season recorded historic wins in the abridged league bagging their fourth Federation Cup title, which was their first in 43 years, following successes in 1972, 1978, and 1980 previously.
