No fewer than 120,000 women and youth across Nigeria and some African countries benefiting from Dr. Philemon Ibrahim Gora’s Nigerian Poverty Alleviation Stipends (NPAS) through African Investors in Diaspora Association (AIDA) have commended him for empowering the less privileged.
One of the beneficiaries, Pastor Deborah Tanko, who spoke with Blueprint, said a lot of families have benefited from Dr. Gora’s good gestures.
She said, “I am a major beneficiary of the great things Gora is doing in this generation. Dr. Gora’s newly introduced Social empowerment Programme has lifted Nigerians in over 23 states of the federation out of poverty since 2019. Today, June 5, 2021, at space 2000 Barnawa in Kaduna state, new beneficiaries also tasted the kind gestures of Dr. Philemon Ibrahim Gora.
Speaking, Gora said the essence of the program is to mould beneficiaries into entrepreneurs, top executives and businessmen and women will be contributing to various sectors of the national economy system.
This, he said, is his contribution to the national development and empowerment programme in support of the current leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He said the programme which is dedicated to the glory of God and is the surest way in fighting youth restiveness, kidnapping, banditry and insurgents in the country.
He charged the beneficiaries to utilise the offer and shun hooliganism, social media mercenaries, hate speech and other social vices and become agents of positive change in society.
