Beware of fraudsters, NECO warns Nigerians

The National Examination Council (NECO) has called on the general public to disregard online publication purporting that the council is planning to recruit new members of staff.
Acting Registrar of NECO, Abubakar Gana said it was the antics of fraudsters to dupe unsuspecting applicants.
He stated this yesterday in a statement issued by the Head of Information and Public Relations, Azeez Sani who stated that the report of recruitment was false and the imagination of fraudsters.
He said: “The Council enjoins members of the public to disregard the publication as it has no plan to recruit new staff.
The Council hereby strongly states that the publication is the product of the imagination of fraudsters who are out to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.” He said the leadership of the Council has issued stern warnings to fraudsters involved in the scam adding that anyone caught in the nefarious act will face the wrath of the law.
He said the leadership of NECO was on the same page with the change mantra of the present administration of President Mohammedu Bahari which is optimized by transparency and zero tolerance for impunity
