Beware of impostor, Agara urges supporters

The Silas Ali Agara Campaign Organization has urged its supporters to be wary of blackmail and fake information on the Deputy Governor’s gubernatorial ambition in 2019.
The organisation was again reacting to the continuous act of sabotage being perpetrated by some political jobbers whose aim it said is to malign and blackmail the candidacy of Silas Agara for their selfish interest.
Expressing dismay at the latest attempt by a faceless individual who, the organisation said had impersonated the identity of the state deputy governor, the campaign organisation alleged that an impostor that goes about calling some of Agara’s close associates and supporters with number 08122277868 with the intent to mislead them about his plans to withdraw from the race.
The organisation alleged the impostor has employed a smartly coded message from the voice tone that attempts to mimic Agara in attempt to give impression that the deputy governor was considering withdrawing from the race.
It would be recalled that the organisation had earlier debunked claims that Agara had secretly purchased the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for the House of Representatives in case he fails to secure the governorship ticket.
“We wish to advise the general public to disregard such information from any quarter as it is the usual antics of detractors and those who feel threatened by the popularity and resolve of our aspirant who is set to win the September 29th governorship primaries in the state.
“Security agencies are equally urged to be on the lookout for such impostors whose target is to cause disaffection among the political class and create confusion ahead of the primaries of our great party”, the Director Information and Strategy of the organisation, Abdullahi Adokwe Ladan, said in a statement yesterday.
Meanwhile, two die-hard supporters of Nasarawa state deputy governor, Silas Agara, embarked on over twelve hours trek from Akwanga to Lafia in solidarity with his governorship bid.
