Beware of online recruitment scam – Oyo CSDA warns

Oyo State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) on Friday asked job seekers in the state to ignore an online link in an ongoing Job recruitment for the agency.

The agency in a statement in Ibadan by its Chairman, Hon Babatunde Eesuola, stressed that the state government established Community and Social Development Agency through the State Act of Parliament in 2008 with the responsibility of implementing the World Bank Assisted Community and Social Development Project (CSDP).

Hon Esuola maintained that “all applications inviting from suitable qualified candidates from the State Public Service or Private Sector to fill the vacancies will strictly be submitted to the Office of the Chairman of the Agency   not through any online link and at no cost.

The Chairman pointed out that Engineer Seyi Makinde, being the  people’s governor will never ask anyone to submit applications through an online link., adding that  the link and the sponsor is fake and fraudulent, asking intending applicants to beware of fraudsters.

Hon Esuola noted  that Oyo state government will not hesitate to ensure the arrest and prosecution of such persons impersonating the agency, and that the process of recruiting the right candidate will be fair and will only be based on merit as required by the law that established the agency.
