The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) Wednesday joined the nationwide strike of the distribution company of Nigeria as total black out was observed in Osun state.
The company had shut down its operation around 9am on Wednesday with electricity disconnected in all parts of the state.
Efforts to speak with the spokesperson of IBEDC in Osogbo, Miss Kikelomo Owoeye, proved futile as she didn’t answer calls nor respond to messages sent to her phone.
Offices and outlets of the company visited by our Correspondent were locked as no official was on seat.
