Blueprint HR manager Joseph passes on, Chairman visits family

Deputy General Manager Human Resources/ Administration Thomas Imoniche Joseph is dead. 

A statement by the newspaper’s management said Joseph died Sunday in Kaduna after a brief illness. 

Condoling with the family during a visit to the deceased’s residence in Kaduna, Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Blueprint Newspapers, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, expressed shock at the demise of Joseph. 

While describing his death as a big loss to the family and also the company, Idris prayed God to grant him eternal rest and also comfort the family. 

In a similar comment, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, Salisu Umar, said the late DGM gave his all to the organisation, describing him as a “firm believer in our project.”

A cross-section of staff members in separate reactions, described the late DGM as an amiable, resourceful and kind-hearted gentleman who was always willing to lend a helping hand to any one that came his way.

Born March 13, 1967 in Minna, Niger state, Joseph attended L.E.A Katsina Road (former Christ Church Primary School) Katsina Road, Kaduna, and later proceeded to the Government Secondary School, Tafawa Balewa Way, Kaduna between 1978 and 1983. For his higher education, the late Joseph attended the Federal Polytechnic Bida, where he obtained HND in Business Admin. 

He also attended Nasarawa State University Keffi where he obtained his PGD/M.A Business Administration. 

Joseph was also until his death a PhD student in the same university.

He is survived by wife and three children.
