Blueprint’s weekend title another milestone – Yobe residents

Many Blueprint readers in Yobe state have described the company’s decision to commence weekend title as a big development and another milestone in the history of the company. Blueprint which commenced as a weekly newspaper in 2011spent only four months and commenced daily publications on working days. Musa Abubakar, a veteran journalist and communications offi cer of Fadama III in Yobe said: “Blueprint newspaper is gradually gaining ground and has so far been consistently obtained on the newsstands across the country, especially in the North. It is growing more popular and will soon be competing with the likes of Daily Trust. Here, in Yobe state, it is second only to Daily Trust in terms of coverage and acceptability.”

General Manager of Yobe state Agricultural Development Programme (ADP), Mustapha Goggobe, said “it is a good development; this will create a good avenue to compete with other newspapers in the country. I commend this laudable idea.” Jonathan Gopep, Channels Television correspondent, said: “I like the paper because of its feature reports and general contents. By the time they commence weekend publications, this paper is going to be a hot cake.” And for Rajab Mohammed, the Secretary, Nigeria of Journalists (NUJ) in Yobe, said “these days the Blueprint
