Board begins pilgrims airlift Saturday

Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (FCTMPWB) has called on intending pilgrims scheduled for the fi rst and second fl ights to report to the permanent hajj camp Saturday for the collection of their travel documents in preparation for their airlift to Saudi Arabia. A statement from the Public Relations Offi cer of the Board, Muhammad Lawal Aliyu, revealed that the camp “shall be opened for the intending pilgrims scheduled for the fi rst fl ight from 3 o’clock in the evening on Saturday, while those scheduled for second fl ight are to report from 6 o’clock in the evening on Sunday for the airlift.” He said the Board had released the fl ight manifests of all the pilgrims for this year’s exercise with its offi cers across the six area councils of the Territory, the permanent Hajj Camp and the Board headquarters located at the Central area. Similarly, Aliyu advised pilgrims to collect their Identity Cards before proceeding to the Camp.
