In compliance with the Operation Puff Adder , the Borno state Police Command has within 30 days across the state arrested a total of 88 suspects involved in various offences ranging from kidnapping, armed robbery, armed banditry, and other violent crimes.
The state Commissioner of Police (CP) Mohammed Ndatsu Aliyu disclosed this Thursday while briefing journalists in his office on the achievements recorded so far since the operation began.
The CP assured that police will continue to ensure adequate security of lives and property of the citizenry while appealing to the public to continue to cooperate with the security agents to serve them better.
