Breaking – #2019 Presidential election: PDP ‘smells manipulation’, rejects announced results

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has rejected the presidential result announced so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja.

INEC so far had announced five states – Ekiti state, Osun state, Nasarawa state, Ondo state and Federal Capital Territory.

Already, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Muhammadu Buhari, is leading in four states out of the five declared.

Addressing journalists in Abuja, National chairman of PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, said that the ruling party and President Buhari colluded with INEC to manipulate the results.

He explained that from the polling results available to PDP’s situation room, their presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar was leading.

Secondus accused APC and President Buhari of mobilizing people to influence the result.

He revealed that the Interior Minister, Abdulrahman Danbazau was sent to the North West, Secretary to the government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha sent to North East, while the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) Abubakar Malami was also deployed to South East / South south to manipulate the figure in favour of the APC’s candidate.

He also stated that the results of some wards in Nasarawa, and Sokoto were rigged.
