Police have confirmed the release of Air Vice-Marshal Sikiru Smith from his abductors.
Smith was abducted on Monday in the Ajah area of Lagos state.
Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, who confirmed the release said the top Air Force officer was freed early Saturday morning.
