Breaking: After winning AMAA award, Nollywood star dies

Nollywood, Nigeria’s thriving industry, has been hit by the cold hand of death once again, this time, snatching Africa Movie Academy Award (AMAA), award winner and top Nollywood producer, Ifeanyi Onyeabor.

Though news of the incident is still sketchy, with cause of death unknown, the versatile producer, according to news making the rounds died while shooting a movie in Jos, Plateau State.

Onyeabor, whose body has already been deposited in a morgue, has some of Nigerian classic movies credited to his name, such as: My Mother’s Heart, New Jerusalem, Five Apostles, Darkest Knight, One Good Turn, among others.
