The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has declared incumbent governor Rotimi Akeredolu winner of 2020 Ondo state governorship election.
Akeredolu assuredly defeated his main challenger Eyitayo Jegede of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Akeredolu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) coasted home with 292,830 votes.
Jegede polled 195, 791 votes.
His deputy Agboola Ajayi of the Zenith Labour Party came distant third with 69, 127 votes.
